    Default Threaded barrel on MP5?

I am awaiting a MP5 A3. Are the standard barrels threaded? If so, thread specs?

    1/2 x 32 if it is factory. A lot of aftermarket at 1/2 x 28

It's also possible that it's not threaded

Do you have pictures of what you bought? That'll answer if it's threaded or not. Or ask the seller what the pitch is.

Three lug is best if you have suppressors that will take one.

The standard MP5'S are not threaded barrels , only the MP5N 's are threaded in 1/2 x 32 , both of them have the 3 lugs tho.

It appears that it is only tri lug......you'll love it.

I have two suppressor that can handle 9mm, but neither are tri lug. Is there such a thing as a lug to thread converter?
