True. And this volume fluctuates constantly throughout the year. I have noticed that at certain times there is a paucity of any one item, then eventually a handful show up, sell for pretty high prices relative to what they sold the previous time there were any for sale. Then a number of other sellers see higher sale prices, list theirs trying to command premium prices, and interest from buyers wanes. It is a true supply and demand phenomenon.

Interesting. Did the sear/trip look like the one in the Vollmer photo? Do you have any photos of yours?

I didn't want to link them so perhaps someone else could find them and get a good deal if they were interested. Could care less if the Sear hosts needed a couple hundred in barrel work or paddle releases, nor which clone of an $8 HK Sear the rifles have. As far as me personally, I won't purchase a Sear. I thought about it for a long time but felt that paying a premium just because something was unlawfully banned along with additional taxes- would defy everything I am as a man.

This was the only pic I could find at the moment, although I have others somewhere. None taken of the "sear" removed, no reason to remove it from the pack. Notice the hook-like end sticking out of the front of the pack?

I learn something new all the time. I had never seen a pack like this. What's the function of this hook?

Also learned that the LaFrance sear is proprietary.

The sear has an integral trip lever as opposed to the two-part sear and trip lever that we have come to know.

I don't know why it had to be hook shaped. I can tell you it worked every bit as good as any other trigger pack conversion.

Looks like available Sear packs have dried up for the time being or the higher priced ones are just sitting.
