I do have an SF Trigger Group like yours. It is a new one with SN on it. When I bought it from Adam, I told him I needed it fit shelf gun not a swing down, so no go on a factory TG. I just assumed he modded it for me. Now it appears the TB came like that from HK and Adam just did a C/P on the housing.

Seems the old part number for 9mm SF was 225522 and was replaced by 216228. Maybe 225522 was the one with the trip lever and 216228 is the one without it.

I just bought a part # 216228 and it does not have a trip lever.

I have several factory FBI 10mm's with the lowest (early) being #43.
SF or semi ambi whatever you want to call them have no trips or sears period.
The boxes are semi configured bent and welded just like 9x packs were but on ambi selector type frames.
Also, the triggers are semi only with the step notch removed and the slimmer trigger like a Navy 3 pos.
Now Renegade might have a Navy 3 pos full auto pack with a SF selector which will only fire semi.
The key is the upper limit trigger stop pin. If your pack has the higher full auto stop it is not a SF or factory semi pack.

Thanks. I was hoping someone else with one would comment. All these years I thought that was how it came, especially after it matched an actual FBI owned gun. The missing link in all this is I did not get my gun virgin NIB from an HK employee. Nor were any of the FBI guns I examined NIB from an HK employee either. So they could have been modified along the way. Perhaps they were sent out with Navy packs and they switched housings as a expedient method to make them S/A.

I have an ATF agent friend with a M4A1 (SSA). As issued to him it has a S/A Selector, even though it is a factory F/A receiver with all F/A parts. So there is some precedent for Feds doing a simple change to make it S/A.

Until it runs out. They lowered the limit of PMs with essentially no warning or it seems any real thought. That instantly disabled my ability to send PMs, although I can receive. Apparently the only way for me to go forward is to delete 4,500+ PMs.

Now I can't get messages either. Premium runs out on 8-3. It's been a nice run.
