From my net surfing, it seems like the ones with bad, vague or incomplete descriptions are always registered receiver guns (or 'married' sears) trying to get registered sear prices from people who don't understand the difference.

What am I missing? A 'married' sear is $200 away from a 'registered' sear, isn't it?

Is there a situation where a married sear can not be divorced?

I know some guys who would have liked to use a torch for their divorce.

I generally think of sear installed in gun with barrel < 16"

Maybe I should have clarified "Swing down push pin" I know of one manufacturer who did them this way for awhile. That is why the Sear is "Permanently Married" to the gun unless you destroyed the gun......

That would be a divorcable sear.

An unregistered sear installed in an incorrectly registered clip-on RR is forever married to the clip-on RR in which it is installed. The marriage may never be annulled.
