    Default G36C suppressors

Anyone know what suppressors will fit on a g36C?

Mainly would one of the taper mount styles like Griffin Recce 7 have enough clearance to fit?

Don’t forget the 15x1 thread pitch. I had to get a thread adapter to 1/2x28. Because of the distance it added, clearance wasn’t a factor.

Cool. Unless there is an offset from the base of the mount and where the bottom of the can align, the gas block vent will be in the way.

Yeah that's what I was afraid of.
What suppressors do work for these?

I think surefire made a C specific mount, as well as B&T. Not sure if B&T USA is offering rotex yet though.

SilencerCo Saker with ASR mount. Mine is still in NFA jail, but my Omega fits (its just not rated for that short of a barrel).

Surefire made a suppressor specifically for it, the Socom 556 SB.

Man, you had me all excited there for a minute. Yes, there is enough clearance for an ASR mount, but only the 7.62 flash is offered in 15x1. Unless you don't care about maximizing the life of the can (and have a 7.62 can), then you are going to want a brake on the C. This pic is from my C barrel with about 1k rounds through my 5.56 Saker.

The handgaurd sticks out a bit on the C so if you use a standard QD your suppressor will hit the handgaurd in most cases. AAC And Surefire make a specific C QD which sets the locking area forward to clear. The other option is to use the B&T handgaurd with the open front and that clears most QD.s
