You might buy a sp5k and leave the sp89 'stock'. Michael's Machines does a nice job.
I got a SP89 w BT stock, vertical grip and FA trigger pack. Just purchased BT N barrel. Looking for some gunsmith recommendations and any other experience cost involved and any other wisdom.
Will sp5k run full auto?
TSC Machine without a single doubt plus he's quick with getting it back to you. He'll even spend an hour with you to answer questions before hand. Also another positive to him is customer support one the work was done. Even 3 years later Mike still honor his work on my 94 to MP5-N. I can't say enough great things about Mike and Tammy.
And pick up a f/a MP5K carrier for sure!

TSC Machine did mine, very happy with the result. I used his HK 94 barrel conversion service, which was a good compromise between the cost of a factory kit barrel and aftermarket options. I run it with a DLO pack and it is a sewing machine both suppressed and unsuppressd (with quality ammo and correct locking piece).

I would also like to install a three lug bbl, but do you go with the 1/2" x 28 or 1/2" x 32?
TSC all the way.
If you are going to have work done on the gun I'd get the paddle mag release installed at the same time and have the gun refinished. If the gun hasn't been sbr'd I'd have it remarked mp5k as well at the top. Pretty much get all of the mods done at the same time.
TSC Machine is who has done my guns and who I'd recommend as well. He is getting ready to take his vacation though so that would add some delay. I'd still go with him though.
