Congrats on your new acquisition, have fun and enjoy.
First time ever shooting full auto.
Took the gun home and took out the trigger pack. It came in a vollmer hk, that was used, but I would rather use it up in a non hk host (the registered part is the fleming sear)
Installed in a Vector V53, and was a little apprehensive. Went to test fire it, bold would not close on it.
Remembered that I never test fired this particular (used) host (I did take it apart when I received it to confirm full auto parts were in it), cleared it, and lubed it up a little.
Bolt closed down (but not all the way)
Pulled the mag out, cleared the round, and lubed it up again, slid the bolt in and out, and in and out
Loaded the magazine (40 rounder) in again, slapped the bolt, and it closed very nicely.
pulled the trigger in semi four rounds and it functioned fine.
Turned it to F, and doing three round bursts was a breeze.
Got to say it is nice to be able to test fire guns in my backyard.
Had my SO pull off a few, and the SO had the same smile and giddy little giggle.
If you haven't taken the plunge, and want to, I would encourage you to do so
It is awesome, can't wait for things to warm up a little.
This transferred from an out of state form 4 to a form 3 to a form 4 to me One year and 3 months later
For anyone who has the knowledge, do they make different recoil springs for the HK53, that adjust the rate of fire?
Not looking to change it, the rate of fire was awesome and so controllable. I was a little apprehensive at first, but I was surprised how easy it was to stay on target
Pics please! I hope to own a 53 one day and 53 porn helps sustain me until I eventually get one of my own.

Congratulations, and thanks for the report!!!
Excellent!!! Congrats!!! Big fun!!!!!!!!!!
My sear came in a 53. I shot 1 mag thru it, and built a 33K host for the sear. That led to a few more hosts. I need one more sear.

Congrats! I sold my HK 53 years ago then later picked up a Vector 53K with the 5” barrel. It’s one of my favorites to share with friends and clients.
I'm on the same boat. Had a transfer from out of state and currently pending over a year.
