    Default Auto sear problems

I’m running a Fleming sear in SEF pack. Runs like it should in my omega om9k but in my C93 and Ptr32 it shoots 2 or 3 and the bolt locks up about 2/3 of the way open. Only way I can free it up is to take off the stocks and end caps. Both of these clones run A1 in semi auto. Both guns doing the exact thing in different calibers with different ejectors. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Did you replace the ejector for the specific caliber?

Yes, I’m trying to run the ejector that came with each firearm but it’s definitely hanging up somewhere.

Are you using the PTR LP? If so there are threads about it. I run a HK LP in my PTR 32K & it runs 100%.

I’m running a #15 locking piece. According to thread I read here awhile back that was the way to go on ptr32s.

That is the correct LP. Which FA carrier are you using? Some of the older PTR carriers had issues reported in HKPRO. It had to due with a weak spring in the side of the carrier. I run a G3 and a newer PTR carrier.

Check bolt gap is within spec and using proper hammer spring for the caliber. Add your location. Someone in area may be willing to help. Good Luck

I’m going with hammer spring with this issue from the description/ symptoms you describe...

Doesn’t sound like an ejector issue at all...

You have a hang up which is either running an in-correct LP and Hammer Spring...

Diagnose each separately with proper SWAP out..

Also check bolt gap with head space gauge tool just as a precaution...

    OP,

Are you describing semi function as ok when firing from SEF sear pack or standalone semi only pack?

I’ve been out of town and haven’t had to check it out further. If the weather holds out I will shoot more in semi with the sef pack. I’ve only shot a few rounds in semi with the sef pack. Most of the semi rounds were shot while I was waiting on my stamp.
