So I think that I've decided to just run my Zeniths w/cans and still sbr the SP5K. My main issue is that the K+stock was really just a prototype gun from HK.

B&T barrel is pretty awesome, but it's not HK. I'm sure at some point, I'll fold and get the B&T barrel. I just want a PDW from HK.

Honestly though, I've often considered the legitimacy of an HK gun that has been significantly mod'ed by a smith to be of questionable pedigree, but yet here I am considering doing just that.

According to g3kurz a lot of K stocks were sold to departments and units to outfit their K inventory with shoulder stocks so im sure a few have been fielded with a flush barrel...

Back in 2003-2004 in Iraq there were both US military and other agencies using K guns with flush barrels and stocks.

HK offered the SP89 as an SBR, both flush and with PDW barrel, and both with vertical forward grip and folding stock.

I believe they had castle sights, but given the time that has passed...I wouldn’t bet the house on it.
