I too have a C&S Metall-Werkes drum. Limited experience has shown it to be very reliable. Man, a 72 round mag dump just seemed to take forever though:)

C&S and Vector drums work. I also haven't had any trouble with an old ban-era Beta mag. All options are $$$.

I bought a Beta C drum right after the ban was lifted. I need to get that thing out and run some ammo through it.

Come on Magpul, we are counting on you for a reliable 40 round mag for PCC.

+1 to this. I have 4 of these and they run well for competition—just that little bit extra you need for a margin of safety on 30+ round stages. I download to 37, same reasons stated.

I’ve only found 1 out of 4 of the old 40-rounders I took a risk on buying from GB that’s functioned well, but have to download it to 38, so I just stick with the 38s downloaded to 37.

You can usually find a C&S drum over on Gunbroker. Just search MP5 drum and they pop up every now and then.
