    Default Higher Capacity MP5 Magazine??

I am running an all German SP5K. Thousands of rounds and NEVER a single problem with Made in Germany 30rd factory mags. 100% reliable.

So, I tried the ETS polymer 40rd for competition use. The polymer mag won't feed anything until its down to 10 left. Stovepipe or no feed at all, with a bolt mark across the top of the unfed bullet still in the mag.

I don't want a drum, just more capacity than than the standard 30.

Are there any higher capacity MP5 magazines (30+) out there?

Once and awhile you’ll see metal 40rd mags for sale. I grabbed two recently and have had no issue.

There are 40 round mags that have liq marked on them that run perfectly and also mcp. Do a search on them. Had a few probably 5 years ago and sold them here for 75 each I think. Worked great just didnt like the look of them and they dug into my side in mag pouches. Reload faster.
Spent most of my tax return on Hk parts, booze and ammo....the rest I just wasted

C&S Metall-Werkes converted Suomi drums are the best +capacity magazines made IMO. They're the only non-HK factory mags I run in my MP5 and I've had no issues with them. 72rnds of FA fun in a compact, easy to load package.

There are also the 40-round (curved) magazines (Iranian contract)--- much more difficult to find--- with blued finish, and marked:

    MP5 HK/ 5/74
    HK MP 5 with “#####stamped through/ 8/74
    MP5 HK/ 2/79

Funny, no mention of the X-Products drum. Did it work for anybody?

+1 on the LIQ & MCP 40-round magazines. They rock.
-100 on the ETS magazines. They junk.
