But I think others will go the carrier mod route for the same reason like on the sp5k nobody wants to remove the nub and modify the receiver even if they change the shelf style.

Is anyone planning to just write a letter to ATF requesting whether the blocking bar can be removed in the manner outlined in the Zenith letter? Was there something else that came out after that letter that has people concerned?
