What is so special about the non F stocks?

They are no longer manufactured and rarely show up for sale in NIB condition
What’s the difference between a non F stock and a current F stock though? I guess what I’m asking is what makes the non F stock so desirable as opposed to a new one straight from HK?
The non F is the classic MP5 “look”. The top MP5 has the non F stock and the bottom has the current production F stock.

They will have to shell out for SBR too, if they want to use that stock on an SP5!!!

I kinda want an F instead of the A3 currently on mine anyway. Maybe I should list.

What fore end is that on the "f" gun? I needz it! (or similar that will accommodate a suppressor, I have one like the one on top - doesn't fit)

That’s the Steiner MP5 forearm. They aren’t manufactured anymore. If you want to run a suppressor and a light it’s the forearm to have. Even my TP suppressor has enough clearance to fit with it. The old incandescent lights that they came with aren’t very bright but Malkoff makes an LED head that fits them and the older Surefire Scout heads will fit it. A cheaper easier route than locating a Steiner is the B&T TL99 MP5 forearm. HK website has/had them on sale for $168 IIRCC. I grabbed one. It accommodates my Octane and Obsidian suppressors

The same seller has another NOS A3 non F stock available for bidding. They must have a closet full of them, it will be interesting to see how high this one goes?
