Default Rugged Obsidian 45 on SP5

Hey friends, I know the suppressor thing has bean beat to death, but have a question about a specific suppressor- does anyone use the rugged obsidian 45 for their sp5/mp5 variant? If so, how has your experience been, durability, cleaning, sound suppression, three lug adapter, etc. Thinking about picking one up. Thanks

I used an Obsidian 45 for a while on my Z-5RS, with the 3 lug. It worked fine and didnít have any issues. I only ran it in the long configuration, though. 9mm isnít a particularly harsh cartridge, especially for a well built can like the Obsidian, so I donít foresee any durability issues. I would still be using it had the DA Wolfman not come out.
    Do you even HK, Bro?

I have both the 45 and 9. I started with the 45 and was happy with it, but ended up getting the 9 just for it so I could run the shorter length with the K. Been happy with it.

Really good to hear since I’m waiting on my obsidian 9 to clear ATF jail.

I have an Obsidian 9 currently locked up. I was considering the 45, but I don’t own that caliber. Been there, done that. I had my fun with 1911’s in the past. 9mm scratches all of my itches and at a much better price. The Obisidian 9 is also noticeably quieter when suppressing 9mm vs the 45.

My buddy has the 45 and it’s a great can though. He uses it on his UMP..

Ive used my Obsidian 45 on my SP5. Sounds good and the Rugged 3 lug mounts up rock solid on the SP5 barrel.

I use it in short with 9mm end cap and rugged 3-lug mount on my Zenith Z-5P (MP5K). It's awesome, I daresay even more so than the same can on the Mark 23. That particular combo works so well it seems like they were deliberately designed together.
