Wow I'm late to the game. I've never seen a V1 with a safety before until now.

I don’t collect, but here are are my examples:

    WTS: P30ls-v1-25095ef6-5df8-438e-b3ff-3e6a0d600678.jpeg

Had the .40 first. Came across the 9mm shortly after. Had both for awhile now, as I’m pretty certain I got them close to the import dates for both.
They are work horses. While I have several other LEM pistols, I like these as much as any of them.

If you want the safety, it’s there. If you don’t want to ever use it, you’re gtg, as well. Nice to have that choice, actually.
For me, the safety goes on while loading, unloading, etc.

What is the optic on the top one?
I like the way it replaces the rear sight

    Thanks

Trijicon RMR on the 9mm. Mount is Trijicon OEM and it is a simple install, which is made for the P30 sight cut.
I wasn’t sure how I would feel about it, but it is easy to get used to. I am liking it far more than I actually thought I would. Both the 9 and 40 do HD duty, primarily.

If I remember correctly, it was a clerical mistake at the factory and between 200 to 500 of these were imported into the US in June 2010.

I have one of each caliber.

Let me know when you’re ready to sell it. I’ll add it to my HK family. 🤠

Mistake as in not supposed to be imported, or not supposed to be made in that configuration at all? If I were to have an LEM, I wouldn't mind having a safety on it.
