Are LE marked mags more desirable?
I didn't know if the post was intended to avoid fakes in general or specifically LE only fakes
Thanks

I have probably 25 or so LEO mags purchased from different sources over the last year and not one of them have date codes. Do they more commonly have date codes or not? Also I have many more non LEO mags with I date codes. Can you elaborate some more on the parts date codes. Thanks
Those LE magazines (1994 AWB era) not date-coded are presumed to be 1994-2004 manufacturing--- I have seen some dated "IE", probably because they were made in 1994 but not released until after the 1994 AWB went into effect and had to be marked LE!!!
Numbers/letters on parts are normal, except for 1993-2001--- here are those:
IR=93
IE=94
IS=95
IK=96
IO=97
ID=98
II=99
OR=00
NP=01
Tony
Addendum:
The other non-LE magazines will utilize the normal date codes:
ID=83 (remember--- this is non-LE)
IE=84 (remember--- this is non-LE)
IF=85
IG=86
IH=87
II=88 (remember--- this is non-LE)
IK=89 (remember--- this is non-LE)
