I don't want to brag, but I just installed a 209266 TRS into my V2 2000SK with a broken 5/16" diameter wood dowel and a 1/16 punch. It took about 3 minutes. The wood fibers on the broken end of the dowel held the spring just right while I pushed the spring straight down into it's place in the trigger. I guess I got lucky.

I left the stock firing pin block spring so I probably have a hybrid LEM V#

Thanks for the good instructions, the LEM trigger pull is down around 5 1/4 pounds now.

Just picked up a used P2000 V2. Date code is for a 2003 model. Test fired at lunch - a little heavy for me, pushing all my rounds low. Would like to switch to V1, is this the correct springs according to Ref Chart posted by twosixty?

I have read thru all 55 pages, again my p2000 is a 2003 model. I know that to go from V2 to V1 the TRS is 209266. The FPBS for older models is 214192. Reading this thread Page 51 post #506 via Toosixty he mentions using FPBS 209296 but you must switch to a new firing pin/block for this spring. Can anyone confirm this? Thanks, Nelson

Midwest Gun Works has the older spring listed for sale - but for a usp 45c:

any reason not to order it? Upgrading to the new spring + new block/firing pin is not cheap.

This is exactly what I have in mind. How are you liking this Hybrid P2000sk hybrid LEM so far since you posted 7 months ago? I am trying to get my new/used HK as close to my Sig P365 trigger weight as possible. Since these two pistols have a very similar manual of arms I would like their trigger weights to be close to each other for consistency.

The new FP/FPB/FPBS only applies to the USP series. The P-series pistols have always had the newer FPB/FPBS since introduction so 209296 is what you will need. The older spring will not work in your P2000

There is no 244300 HS. The correct part # is 214300.

Thanks, ended up trading the P2000. Should have posted in the handgun section.
