This weekend I shot 300 rounds at Eagle gun range on Saturday. 100 rounds of Blazer, 100 rounds of Monarch and 50 rounds of Atlanta Arms. My shooting has been degrading in quality lately. But I still shoot pretty good. I’m getting sloppy.

Today I shot 250 rounds at Marion road with my wife in tow. She shot a few rounds (the first time she ever went with me, she must have read about the girl at Shooters!!). I set up 4 targets at various distances out to 25 yards and let her call off the numbers. I would shoot, run, shoot, reload, etc. Lots of fun!

I then finished off the day shooting the P2000 along with my AK and FS2000 at 100 yards. Some dude showed up with a 50 Desert Eagle and could not figure out why it would not work. He was loading .45 Long Colt ammo into the gun. Thank God it did not fire. He said it said “.50” on the box. It did say 50...50 rounds of .45 Colt. Jesus.

My wife was pretty good with the AK (with Aimpoint). She was able to pretty consistently ding the gong at that range.

The P2000 is now over the 10,000 round mark. This gun is awesome, awesome, awesome. It is simply as fool proof a gun as you can buy.

    10469 rounds
Mag #2 baseplate is loose. Still functional.
One dead Monarch Steel cased round. Primer dead.
    Dropped four times
One deep gouge in the grip from slamming my glove compartment door on it!
2440 rounds since last cleaning (and almost all of it NASTY).

    Good update.

Please take some more pics in macro mode of the wear areas:
Locking bloc, frame rails, extractor, etc.

and, that hammer pic is in poor taste IMHO. I get the joke, but it's just kind of----meh.

Very entertaining thread! I recently bought a USPc 9mm and it is good to know that HK's can stand the punishment.

    Thanks a lot Greg.
I do not have the founds nor the time to perform such a test.
But now I know that the limits of my P2K still is not visible at 10K rounds.
Again I do appreciate a lot for your effort.
    Best Regards.
