Default Hello Board, New to H&K

I recently got a P30 SKS (for me) & a VP9 for the wife. Finally got to the range (both The Bullet Hole and Take Aim) in Omaha NE. We both had our BEST day shooting most accurate shooting (shockingly so !!). The SA on the P30 is AMAZING...DA is a bit heavy but its my first DA/SA firearm. Wife's VP9 is silky smooth....So glad we sold our M&P and Steyr. Any more in love w/ these handguns I'd be getting a H&K tattooed on my neck LOL
AM I ALONE ?? Who else is blown away w/ their first H&K(s) ??

Hello from KS. Yes my HK pistols are by far my favorites, I like them way better than any other make.
My beautiful wife, the first love of my life, my guns second. Or as she calls them, my second wife.

    Welcome

I'm with you on going to HK and finding a major leap of quality and fit n finish. DA is always going to be long and heavy, you're performing the entire cocking action.

My priors are an XDm and wife's Beretta 84FS clone (and half a dozen rentals). Both are good guns but my P30 feels like it was molded to my hand and the accuracy and my confidence in shooting both improved along the same lines. Comparing the M&P to an HK is like comparing a Chevy to a BMW.
