Default VP9sk into battery problem (Updated)

Shot my VP9sk at a match today (Winchester 124gr NATO) At one point I pulled the slide back slightly to make sure a round was chambered and didn't notice that it did not go back into battery until the buzzer goes off, I draw, aim and click. I rack a round out and continue.

I've read threads of a similar issues. This issue doesn't seem that bad but I would like the spring to be stronger so if I check the chamber it will go back into battery without me helping it.

No issue with any of my other pistols including my VP9.

Is there a stronger spring I can get for the VP9sk or anything else I can do that can help this issue?

Thank you in advance for all your input.

Tried costumer service, just got a circle of phone menus. Tried every option.

Can someone help with a proper number?

Can someone tell me if I purchase a new recoil spring from hkpart.net will fix the going into battery problem?

HK is not a costume maker so that is why you could not get through. Sorry, couldn't resist. :)

706-568-1906. Press 2, then 1. That should get you right to customer service.

HK cs was very accommodating. They sent a shipping label and had a new spring to me in a week. Unfortunately it's the same as the other. Link at HK cs said they're aware of the issue but that he didn't know of any plans of Germany developing a heavy duty spring for the vp9sk.

He did give me his email @hk and asked me to send him a description of the issue for him to forward, he said HK pays attention to any issues and if there is enough of a demand he thinks HK will probably do something to fix it. We talked briefly about the p30sk and he seemed to think it had a similar issue which was surprising to me. I checked one out at my LGS next to a vp9sk and it wasn't at all the same. Side by side the "into battery issue" or "bumped out of battery issue" is really noticeable on the vp9sk.

Checked with Wolf Springs for a fix but no luck.

Thought about selling it but I like it too much, I'll just have to wait to put it into the carry rotation until I can get a heavy duty spring.

If anyone has any ideas I would love to hear them.
