    Default New from CA

Hello everyone. Just joined looking forward to learning as much as i can about HK weapons. I shot some HK weapons in the pass very reliable weapons. I shot my friends PTR 91 GI classic and i was hooked. Patiently waiting for Atlantic Firearms to be in stock to buy one.

I do have a question if anyone can help. When i get my PTR 91 i plan to swap the plastic green furniture to the G3 wood furniture. i have already the wood furniture how do i swap out the butt stocks i been looking on youtube and i cant find nothing. Do i have to take off all the internal parts off the green plastic one and put them on the wooden butt stock or can i simply just put on the wooden buttstock that's complete already from an original G3 to the PTR 91? i will provide a picture of the stock i own. Information appreciated thanks.

    Arsenal84,

    Welcome to the forum.

OK, see those two holes in the stock? There are two pins that go into those holes and hold the stock to the receiver. Remove those two pins from the original stock you get and pull it off. Then you can put this in its place. The front stock also has one pin up front.

Very easy to remove. Never hurts to have spares as they are fairly inexpensive.

    again, welcome to the site

I'll add a little something. Do you see the 2 little holes in the stock? you can put the pins in there so you won't lose them. Welcome to the site.
