Hi, newbie here to the world of HK. So my very first HKs I purchased last weekend was a P9s in 9mm and 45acp. Never even heard of them until I did research.....very interesting reading up on them. Upon stripping and cleaning them; I found a few problems..... broken tab on buffer support, it seems like 45acp model had a buffer housing of a 9mm and was missing the buffer....no buffer inside nor evident of a destroyed buffer either, new replacements grips/trigger guard as it seems like previous owner used a solvent and it melted the plastic on my 45acp model. But regardless, still can’t wait to take both of them out and see them in action.
Hi Tony, to be honest, I wasn’t even looking for them but both where offered at a good deal so here I am! I was just a little disappointed that the 45acp needed parts but that’s the game. I have heard of James here on the forum and impressed with his knowledge and workmanship. Thanks again Tony!
