Default Rookie buying from hk marketplace

    Hey everyone,

I’m brand new to HKPRO, so this question may seem super green. I am interested in acquiring a few HK products and have been eyeing the marketplace on this site. What has been peoples’ experience in dealing with the hkpro community when it comes to purchases from other members? I’d love some input and feedback from the veterans if possible.

    Thanks.

Do your research. If it’s too good to be true it likely is.
There have been some scammers on HKpro but it’s pretty Rare.
Usually members that have been around for a while and are active and known in the community are usually good to go.
Again do your own research. Get proof of ownership via pictures or whatever is sufficient for you.

As Sean said, lots of great people on here but do your research. Look at feedback left for the members. I have bought several items on the forums and all of the transactions have been smooth.

Thanks @Doc44ga . I didn’t even notice the feedback score feature. Handy to see the rep a member has when it comes to these transactions.

Tony even knows everyone's blood type on this site (true).

Like others said, folks with positive feedback and have been members here for quite a long time, are well known on this site. We are also always on the watch for the occasional scammer and that person will quickly be banned but not after being called out and berated/embarrassed/shamed to the point where they will have to move to another planet (or at least to another IP address). Doxxing a scammer seems to be fun for some reason...

@Tailflash , you forgot to mention that Tony has everyone’s DNA code memorized, not just their blood types. He is a Wealth of information.

All the responses to date are excellent guidance. In addition, remember common sense, trust your instincts, ask questions, don't assume, & keep all your communications. Make sure all of your transactions follow the applicable laws for you, your state, etc, and you obtain the necessary information for your records.
