    Default hk33 Magazine availabilty quesiton

I'm getting a A33k built for me and I'm a little concerned with the current price of hk33 mags.
Every where I look the surplus and hk newly manufactured are $60+.
I'm sure Promags are fine, but I prefer OEM.
Is this just an issue of "seasonal" surplus drying up and we can expect more to come in the country at a later date?

You 'might' do better on 40rnd 'range mags', but the HK 5.56 rollerlock stuff is end of life. They are discontinuing everything 33/53. I think the new mags from @gm at hkspecialist is about as good as it's going to get.

Welcome to the site--- the newer, 30-round, steel, OEM magazines will be the least expensive, as the older, 25-round, steel magazines are more of a "collector" magazine, have been discontinued, and are becoming more difficult to find!!!
On the 40-round magazines, there are the aluminum OEM and aftermarket steel (manufactured by MCP, and marked MCP or LIQ--- same magazine).
Pictures of the build, upon completion.

I'm with you on the german preference, but the prices today on the 30rd steel mags may be the best you will ever see as more (last batch?) new german mags were recently dumped on the market. Don't overlook some of the other options though: I also like the MKE mags. Tight, good quality and have the fun helicopter/plane ranging lines on them. Can also clamp together. I've had a good experience with the Promags in my HK93 but I know some folks have had issues so test one first.
