Default Are P7** HK boxes labeled and serialized to the guns typically?

I’m more of a colt guy trying to get smart on the P7 series. Are they typically packaged in those black boxes with a label serialized to the gun or test target maybe? What should I look for for a complete say nickel p7m13/what should be included ? Thanks in advance.

Just sent you a PM with my cell number.

Really depends on the model and year. Some were shipped in cardboard boxes and some in the plastic cases. The serial on the gun should match the box and test target serials. Any pistol made in 1987 or later will usually have serial prefix which indicates the model. 15 for a P7, 16 for a p7M8, 17 for a P7M13, 18 for a P7K3, 021 for a P7M10. The serials in the box will not include the prefix unless they are very late production pistols.

    For this particular model:

    - black plastic box (with matching SN), 2 magazines (JC "date-coded" magazines), wire cleaning brush for gas piston, carbon scraper, English manual (“Operator’s Manual for P7 Pistols”), and warranty card

Strange that I have never seen a test target with a KC (blue or nickel) P7M13.
