It's actually rediculously simple from a mechanics stand point, it cycles using a piston attached to a arm that works like an old steam locomotive when cycled it rotates a gear which
Rotates another gear and linkage to both rotate the breach 90' to present the chamber for loading and then as the rotation cycle completes it mechanically strips a round off the magazine and forces it into the chamber, the chamber then rotates 90' then a little corkscrew to its ass , rinse cycle repeat.....

It's only complicated if you let it be, :-)

    You did what?

Jim you're killing Dennis and myself. He is not willing to move from that price much either.

LOL there's just no way something like that could be issued to military troops for first echelon maintenance. I'm sure that the USMC officers assigned to the ACR trials took one look at the Hk rep and shook their heads when the G11 was field stripped.

From today's trip the Gray Room. Sadly, I couldn't fit it in my H&K SWAG bag.

Except the Marines did not participate in the ACR trails - just Army and USAF.

Just on Swatti’s 3D printing idea has anyone still got G11 rounds that could be copied and printed for display purposes. I’m trying to get all HK’s rounds collected (Ideally firing them as well) for a display board. The problem ones I still need are the obvious rare ones.
    4.6 x 36 mm HK36 Spoon Tip
    4.73 x 33 mm G11 caseless
    7.62 x 36 mm P11 Underwater Pistol
    67mm Armburst rocket
These last few I know I’ve no chance of firing but copies, mock-ups or inert rounds would be the only way I could get them.
Any help or info would be very much appreciated.

Yeah I need to pay more attention when typing I’ve put rocket in twice, G3Kurz you would be the man that would know the P11 is it a dart/ flechette round like the AK APS? I know it has an electronic ignition system I just can’t find any info on it.

    Many Thanks
