My wife has a detailed list of every gun and its value just in case I croak, you know being over 50 years old and all. I would hate to see her sell them for cheap.

My best friend has explicit instructions in the event of my croaking NOT to let me wife sell my guns for what I told her I paid for them...

Sadly I only have a few HKs. So jealous that people have so much HKs in their inventory.

I explicitly put all of mine into my Will with a provision that if I die before my son is old enough to own them, they are to be 'held' by a good friend of mine and accounted for in my estate. I'm breaking him in with a BB gun at four, probably give him the .22LR after I teach him to shoot that in the next few years.

While not legally binding I told her when I met her "I like firearms, I buy them and I need to feed them. We can try this out, just know the limitations and know you can't veto this addiction". She actually tells this story to her friends who complain about their husbands buying a new rifle/pistol. She's figured out really well the easiest way to be a combat veterans wife.

Which .22LR are you going to use? I plan to teach my daughter on a HK4 with a .22LR barrel. She's 2 now, so I've got some time.
