Guilty plea = reduced sentence

The sentencing guidelines for federal courts are much more stringent than state courts. The prosecutor requested the judge impose a 37 month sentence. However, he was given a 48 month sentence instead. The bottom line here is that the judge threw the proverbial "book" at him. I'm sure his legal team negotiated a plea deal prior to trial. Adam, do to his narcissistic and arrogant attitude, went all in. And, I'm sure he was advised if he did so, that the punishment would be much more severe if he lost in court. I sympathize for his children, but not for him.
Do you get credits for Continuing Education in a Federal prison ? It's a great place to hone your skills !

While what you say is true (to a degree), it is NOT correct if selling firearms is part of your business. And if a person sells a sufficient number of firearms, they can be legally deemed to be in the business of selling firearms, and thus, require a federal firearms license. What I’m saying is you can’t stand behind the FTF/not dealing gambit when the facts of the case prove otherwise.
Sparkplugs are irrelevant.
