If they order a bunch of trigger return springs and some more small parts, they can rock on for 20 more years with little money.

    Recommended spare parts

PS: OK, but I don't want to be stingy. If they think they need new guns, I would not speak against it. (Since I pay my taxes in another federal state of Germany, it's not my business anyway.)

BTW: The HK factory is in Baden-Württemberg. And Walther, too.

BW was already carrying the P2000. In the light of the more recent events in German (terrorism became real last year) they invested in the police force. They are basically just upping their order. It would make absolutely no sense to write out a new lengthy tender for a new sidearm. It would take ages, add cost (testing) and they would create a logistical nightmare.

In celebration I just ordered another for my collection. Lucky number four! Such a great pistol.
Save the whales. Redeem them for valuable prizes.
