The data is, indeed, valuable. That said, as soon as you sell the first couple of slugs, it will be out in the wild and will become nearly instantly available on the Internet. Passwords and such work for basic roadblocks and the majority of folks on this site who would buy it are honorable. But all it takes is one who removes the cursory roadblocks and the enterprise is sunk. Take, for example, the revered, multi-volume tome Modernist Cuisine: The Art and Science of Cooking. It is priced over $500 (even on Amazon). Those who have a respect and love for the passion and effort that went into making it actually pay for it. It took one of those passionate types who felt that the world should have it for free to turn it into a giant set of pdf's. And yep, not hard to find at all.

Know this going into it. Or maybe establish a quid pro quo with HK...

Don't worry, Tony. They can still reply. They just can't see to whom the email is addressed, which will protect everyone's privacy. They can reply either to you alone (click REPLY) or to you *and* everyone else (click REPLY ALL).

You may want to have them send the edits to you alone so you can look it over to verify and incorporate the data before passing it on to others. [One would hope no one would add incorrect data accidentally or maliciously.]

That would limit the risk of re-distribution. Folks would need to enter a password to open the PDF, which is a bit of a hassle, but maybe folks could send you a requested password along with the money so it is easy for them to recall it or put it in their password manager. With this system, if the PDF gets into the wild, as soon as it is separated from its password it is much harder to access. And if it is distributed with the password...then you know where it came from because the passwords are unique to each file.

(Also, I own the latest version of Adobe Acrobat and would be happy to create the files (at zero cost to you) provided the number of files needed was something I could manage along with work and family responsibilities.)
I cannot PM you, as you have exceeded your limit!!!
Can you PM me your number and time to call?

I may behind the eight ball, but I would be interested in purchasing your compiled data, Tony, no matter which way it is delivered. You are quite a valuable asset on the forum, and I have emailed you several time for "help." Please count me in if there is going to be a "group buy" of the your compiled data.

Apologies for the delay on the release!!!
I am humbled by your comments, and am always available for answering questions, if I can.
Currently, the following are the pages per section:

    HK (380 pages)
HK + similar--- CETME, FMP, EBO, etc. (430 pages)
All manufacturers--- I will list these (and sub-groups) before sale (1,310 pages)

No group buys--- this will only be available to HKPRO members for now.
I really want there to be a record of all of this information for others to use in the future v. being lost forever.
