    Default My new toy

I wanted this worse than my officers model 1911 (that I had about $400 in & the other guy wanted my 1911 worse than he wanted this.
Seller (Trader?) got it from a LEO & said there's been less than 300 rounds through it, but I wouldn't know how to tell.
Also came with a Safariland Level 2 Retention duty holster. Took me awhile & a trip to their website to figure it out. LOL!

Not able to tell an exact round count but having broken in a couple of those, I know how the finish wears in certain key spots- on the barrel, inside the slide, etc. Id be willing to bet that has less than 500 rounds through it.

I’d go with the under 500 as well. More holster wear than firing wear.
    Good looking pistol.

Thanks, y'all. I've been wanting an H&K for years.
Now I'd like to learn to detail strip it.

    Thanks, Tony.
I noticed, when cleaning it, the wear towards the end of the barrel I can feel it with my fingernail if I run across it. Normal?

*EDIT* Was looking at goodies from HK Parts that there's an O Ring that goes on the barrel. I didn't notice one and was wondering if that's where it goes?
