    Slide release very difficult!!!!
    Any tricks???

    HK builds a very tight gun. Shoot it and use it and it will get better but it will always take some pressure to release.

    Welcome to the site--- as @chuckster62 pointed out, this will get better with use!!!
    Mine was as tight as the proverbial "hatband" when new.

    Like the others have stated, it will get better with several range sessions. By the way, you made an excellent selection for an HK. The USP full size 45 is one of my favorite HKs.
