    Default New Exciting HK's?

Do you guys think there is any chance HK will make/import something exciting anytime soon? I personally am not much of a handgun guy so all of the P30's, VP9's USP's all of that falls on deaf ears when it comes to me. However recently they did release the SP5k and USC carbine which I thought were great (and unexpected) for them to release. However both of those are effectively re-releases of guns they already imported and merely ceased import, assuming you think the SP5k is close to an SP89. Will we get anything close to a HK243, or better yet a MP7 semi gun? It seems as though HK is falling severely behind in the exoticiness they are bringing into the US.

I don't think that we will see an MP7. If i remember correctly, the german govenment thinks that 4.6x30mm has no business in civillian hands and therefore H&K and H&K USA can't sell mp7s to civillians. Not even a SP variant of it.

They should offer it in 5.7×28mm or even .223 WSSM. Or how about plain ol' 9mm?

I'm still waiting for SIG-Sauer to start building the 751 here.

Gun gods, don’t hate o me but it kinda’ makes sense, it’s sole design purpose was to penetrate Soviet body armor.

And ruin a perfectly good rifle.... if they do, I hope Swiss/German quality follows them?

Yeah, well, one can hope so. Quality from SIG-Sauer USA is what I worry about. I don't own any American made SIG-Sauer.

It's hard to believe with the popularity of the 7,62x51 cartridge that SIG-Sauer US hasn't already built this rifle.

Why tho? Why not just buy the Swiss/German one?

There's about eight or ten in the United States as far as I know and don't really know how they were legally imported unless for LE or Govt evaluation.
