True. But I think this is where the PDW gets a raw deal.

I love me some 9mm and shooting 9mm PCC's is stupid easy but as noted if the same bullet tech is applied can have just a touch more intermediate barrier effectiveness than its 9/40/45 duty caliber brothers...and would be at the bare minimum of what I would consider a PCC for serious civilian/LE PDW style use where space is at an absolute premium. Then again, I grew up on things like the 94 Trapper in .357 and M1 Carbines and still believe that there is a good happy medium to be found between 5.56x45 and 9x19mm that isn't a micro caliber. The Colt MARS comes to mind.

The footprint of a PCC pdw (especially when magazines are factored in) will always have the edge over shorty .223/300BO guns.
And let's be honest, .223/5.56 has compromised ballistics below the 10.5" barrel mark and it's STUPID loud in the super-shorty stuff that's not suppressed. The 5.5" .223 stuff is just tarded. 300BO is another story ad the appropriate answer for <10" barrels.

Despite my personal feelings that overkill is underrated, considering the appropriate tool can not be understated in our overly litigious society.

If you ever have a teammate touch off a Mk18 next to you in a tight, indoor space, you will see the point.

Yes sir, those 165’s kick good!
Only ones I shot through the P30.
The P30 is a small light pistol.
No, I’m not a Nancy, but they do kick pretty good!
May equilavent to the S&W .500 mag :))

I have so mnay of those 165’s
    I’ll buy some 180’s soon.

I still love shooting my liberty ammo civil defense rounds at the range in .45, .9mm and .40
Their all about 2000FPS, And the report is wicked loud, makes people look :)
But the price is also high, so only a few get used from time to time.
    I’m rambling.

    I just built an AR in 10mm, and I have 2 10mm 1911s. I wouldn't be able to resist a HK in 10.

Just give me a stock USP 10 and I’ll be happy. Give me a HK10 and I’ll be even happier and could not resist purchasing one. Anything made in 45 acp can be made in 10mm without much changing in the tooling. Simple answer is “we suck and they hate us”

Well.....you can have one of two things.

    8.86"...…...MP5 Pistol
    or
    4.53"...…...MP5K Pistol

Just add sear to either....boom/pow/wham!!!!!!!!!! SBR Batman

    I've got both...….and I'd go with the MP5 10MM

Drop Ralph a call @RDTS and drain your wallet, but you'll be very happy at 1250 fps

    Just my $.02
