Default Wanna See What a "Weapon Mounted Light" Was in 1980?

The recent arrival from the HK Webshop of my Operation Nimrod t-shirt had me looking up some old photos on that raid.

In that search I came across this little photo that made me laugh out loud.

The shirt, by the way, is excellent.

Most were mounted below the hand guard, not above the receiver.

No, it’s airsoft, and I don’t think they had those in 1980 either.
