I reached out to the range owner of the facility south of Nashville. Will see what he says.

TDSA is southeast of Dallas. The tire place? Its where Colion Noir does his videos, and he would likely want to attend. Someone else mentioned ETTS in Waxahachie.. they would probably be a good host too. I'm in for somewhere here or generally in the midwest!

I would also be interested if close to Nashville.

Nashville area would be a GTG with me. It's a 6-1/2 hour drive but it's also one of my favorite places to visit...

I do have a grand baby due in late September but would still hope to make it:)

Ok, range south of Nashville is a no-go. Open for ideas. Preferably a range with a classroom. The owners of this range said they don't allow outside instructors, nor outside instructors to rent their range. Let's do this!

I think Dallas would be prime. There's plenty of great outdoor ranges and great bbq. I recommended ETTS in Waxahachie, an hour outside Dallas, and somebody else brought up TDSA in Ferris, an hour outside Dallas as well, which is the range you might have seen in some of Noir's videos. Both are pretty nice and have indoor "classroom" areas. I've traveled through both major airports here, DFW and Dallas Love Field, several times with firearms, suppressors, night vision, you name it, without any problems. They're pretty familiar with dealing with that here. September is usually when it really starts to cool down here and the mosquitos shouldn't be bad then either.

Check my post above (#32), TDSA and ETTS near Dallas could be good if the location works for you. Texas Defensive Shooting Academy in Ferris, TX and Extreme Tactics & Training Solutions in Waxahachie, TX could be good options. Outdoor, move and shoot, and classrooms.
