Agreed. We need to be very judicious with managing that risk. Will send PM shortly to you.

I think it was APG - Adrenalin Proving Ground in Greenville, TX. They were bought by the city in 2010.

Dallas is better than TN for me as I have family in the great state of TX and I can get a direct flight there. Personal preference is for an outdoor range, but completely understand if that is not on the table. Armorer day is a plus.

In my case, attendance is largely dependent on my job situation. Probably like many here, I am uneasy with what shutting down 30% of our economy on a prolonged basis could mean for my job.

Totally understand, Veritas! I just want to wish you the best for your situation, and I realize that scheduling anything like this around the virus circumstances is dicey at best. I really appreciate your interest, and want to make these special, subject to world events.

I've shot at the Frisco Gun Club several times when they first opened. GREAT place. The people were friendly and we had a great time.

I was trying to get a shoot together there last year. Then my health slipped and it did not happen. It's on me. As I get older, and still have to deal with some family business issues and now that I passed 65, it is harder on me than I remember previously and I do not 'bounce back' nearly as quick as I used to.

If you are coming to Dallas IN September, make it the middle/end of the month. On Labor Day, the heat can still hit over 100 (used to live 5 years in Keller). I live in San Angelo now and it's about a fourish hour drive to the DFW area.

I AM interested. I would love to take James armorers class as well.

I will watch and wait for more info

This would be great and I could visit the old neighborhood.

There is a HARD EIGHT BBQ right down the street from The Frisco Gun Club. They have a nice actual sit down restaurant. Not cheap, but it is good. It's the one in THE COLONY.

Knob Creek by Louisville, KY has a small range they will rent out for groups. I would be interested. TX is too far for me.

I'm pretty sure that everyone knows about Knob Creek!

Here's a little detail for those of you who may be mulling over this event whilst on lock down...

HKPRO has done this class *many* times and I am assisting as RSO, assuming logistics work out. This is THE class to take if you want to learn how to use your MP5/SP5 weapon correctly and effectively. Your current skill set or level does not matter. This class will work for you and be great for you whether you are a newb or an expert. Newbs will go from zero to holy [email protected]! in a day. Those already familiar with the platform will still learn gobs and become even more skilled. It is money well spent and will be a watershed moment in your gun totin' life. Enough hyperbole for you? Well, it's not hyperbole.

You will learn how to properly sight the weapon and how to adjust those sights. You'll learn how the gun actually operates. You'll learn to hold it and properly shoot it in a variety of positions and on the move. You'll learn how to control the trigger better than you ever thought possible. You'll learn how to use that damn sling. And so much more.

Wondering what happened to your posts???
