Well, seriously, it's truly not necessary. My summer EDC is a Glock. HK doesn't make a 43X sized gun. It's all in jest. I carry a Glock every day at work too. It's purely up to you. :)

My EDC is Glock as well, a G19. No optic and no light.

Chargerdude: You need a VP9! Better gun than the 19 and the 17! I just wish H&K made a gun that was not an in-between size between the two Glock 9mm favorites.

I been eyeballing them. I just need to get my mitts on one. Wish I knew someone who had one so I could fondle it. I really like how close to bore axis the sights are on G guns and tucked in it is to the web of my hand. The M&P was another that fit me well.

I’m bring my P228. I don’t have a good holster for my P7M8. Used to have a Del Fatti but I think I traded it for something along the way. I’m just not a polymer guy, although I do own a G19, just because. Recently I rented a VP9sk and P365 to see if I was missing out. I’m not.

I have a P938. That little thing and +P ammo make for a fun little plinker..

@nitromaxx , see my PM for sling. That's not bad, but primarily a single point sling. Not ideal, for reasons that will become evident in the class.

Factory slings are available and they are $30-$40 so just look online and buy the real deal.

I plan on bringing a few spare HK handguns if you want to try one out.
