    Can’t say with 100% certainty, but not a fan of the HK OEM handguards in general.

    Plus I don’t need rails the entire length and at 12, 3, 6 and 9 o’clock.

    If only I could get my hands on a handguard. Will order one ASAP and try it out. Thanks for the pic!

    I don’t think so. He menhoned a chop job, which is what I did.

    If he was lucky enough to buy an EOM 13” barrel, I can see why he won’t have any cycling issues without a suppressor because the gas block will be sized correctly.

    Amen to that. Almost like fins on a BMW.

    New Hand Guard definitely. I don’t like the cheese grater that the Quad Rail feels like.

    Thanks to all for the advice.

    Looks like this version has the integrated front sight and is slightly heavier. Plus is EUR420.

    Am thinking this is the version I will get that does not have the integrated front sight and is lighter. Plus added benefit of being EUR90 cheaper.

    Although both are out of stock, I hope to get one ASAP. Quick question re the mounting slots. I want to buy the tiny picatinny rails so I can mount a surefire IR/light at 3 o'clock. where do I buy that part? Don't want to buy a rail that I can't mount a light on...

    TIA!

    @Drooler

    I bought my rail segments from GGW when I purchased the Hand Huard. I’ve order a couple more since as well.

    Here are the type you are looking for;

    The HKey pic rails from Europe. As I’m sure you know they are very different than the MRS rail segments they sell on the US MR rifles.

    Baljar has stated that GGW is now an Airsoft shop. But maybe they’ll still order for you.

    If you’re ordering any of these parts from GGW, make sure you are approved for an ATF Form 6 Part 1 prior to purchasing the parts. They used to be ok to import without an approval but now you’re required to fill out a Form 6 Part 1 for any firearm parts over $50 when ordering out of the USA. $500 exemption for Canada. E Form 6 Part 1 is available online and is approved in less than 1 month.

    Really is that for any part? I ordered a vz58 rail and mount off eBay back in October 2017 and it shipped from Czech no problems and it was over 100

    Yes, it is for any part now over $50. Furniture used to be ok but they revised the list within the last couple years. They will ship it, and you will receive it I’m sure, but it’s technically illegally imported. Every firearm part is now considered an implement of war.
