Classy statement. What I expected from KAC.

The hate for KAC is classic in the comments though.

12.7lbs fully kitted out. That's incredibly for a .308 rifle.

Apart from the Trigger, Handguard (that is possibly hiding a slimmer profile barrel contour) and drilled buffer area, it looks pretty much like an MR308A3 with a removed FA and the lightweight stock and a modified V7 grip.
Optics are interesting, the lightweighht S+B Ultrashort with a 45° offset bius.

Can you tell what bipod it comes with? It's also 3lbs lighter than the M110(sans suppressor and magazine, which I know KAC gave the Army what was requested).

I wonder if this could be the gun that gets rid of M1913 pic rails?

    Open to interpretation...

    This comment makes sense:
Translation: “Someone else won the competition but don’t forget we were there first. We’re the real innovators.”

That said I fail to see the reasoning for this release. Not suing/contesting would be suitable, but they apparently felt compelled to release this. After seeing some of these responses, I think I understand. Never forget there is no altruism in this industry...

If it's true it came down to LMT, FNH, and HK, KAC can't contest the decision.
