    Hamster and @ipsilateral :

Thanks, at first I thought it might be a MP7 rear flip up but I noticed the post extends back off of the base.

[QUOTE=hamster37;1920481]Working on my Uday raid gun
I have a original tango and sopmod, these are just place holders till my SF 212 comes in. Didn't see a m6x till mid 2004ish but other guys had them earlier.

Why does that rifle have a Blk upper, i assume replacement upper? Sorry, it just looks bit out of place.

    Non-matching upper is best upper.

After looking back through some of the pictures in this thread, I've decided to take my 416 clone in a different direction. I've got the thing almost completely stripped now. Be sending it off for engraving soon.

Hoping to bring this thread back since it seemed to have a lot of knowledge from end users of the HK416. NSW HK416s with EXPS and dbals(?) and the late Ryan Owens from NSW. Note the 14.5in. HK.

I'd love to bring it back. Let's try it. Here's my contribution- a tan HK416D clone.

    Word.

Here is mine gem, I've beeen looking to invest in a geissele or a RAHG but I'm still debating on which one. I Was hoping to find user feedback on here to how each performed in the field from end users.

Anyone know why the Surefire H9 buffer is $250 other than saying Surefire on it?

My humble addition to the thread.

It's more difficult than you might imagine to significantly increase the weight of the buffer while maintaining the reciprocating action and dimensions/form factor to work as a drop-in replacement, the H3 buffer using three tungsten weights is 5.4 oz (the H6 with six smaller weights is a similar weight), the H9 is 9 oz.

If you feel the Surefire is too expensive for you, the Slash XH Buffer is 8.5 oz and can be purchased for ~$125.
