You sir make a very good point. Personally, I'm aiming for the 1000++ yds, but have only made it to 850 thus far. Ran out of room.

    Thank you Brad!

Out here in LV I get to shoot 1000 at my local rifle club, hell I was there yesterday trying to get a buddy addicted. He only went out to 600 due to time.

On my MR762 I currently have a SB PMII 3-20x50 with MSR reticle. I love it! However I am really digging the 1-8 scopes for 308's!

Consider a Spuhr QD scope mount. Top quality with a price to match. More importantly, get what you want and really need.

Starting to get some parts in. Before i list the specs i want to give a special thank to dms16 for all of his knowledge about scopes and helping me find a fantastic deal on the S&B. The scope is an S&B 3-20x50 PMII. The can is an OSS Helix. Now just time to wait for the rest of the parts to come in!

Congrats on the acquisition of your "stuff". And {if it were me}, I'd listen to @dms16 's advice. He seems to have a pretty good head on his shoulder and I've learned a lot reading his posts.

Thank you. What slings would you recommend? Also is it worth the $500 for the G28 buttstock?

    Blue Force Gear, Vickers, Padded

There are ways to build up a cheekpiece on your stock if you don't feel like shelling out $500 more on your rig.
