    Default HK416A5 Safety lever

I’m right handed and don’t like having the ambi safety setup, that said I do like the removable safety levers and the option of maybe running the updated polymer 416A5 style in the future.
To this end I machined an ambi axle flat on the “lefty” side, profiled it and blued it. It turned out pretty nice so I’m going to do a couple more.
Anybody out there know where to get their hands on any of these polymer levers?? I was told by a senior member of this forum that finding a one sided axle in the US was probably not going to happen so I took matters into my own hands and made my own but I sure would like to find a couple of those levers.

So...you went through all that trouble for a traditional safety...?

Someone will undoubtedly bring up the "safe with the hammer down" feature that he saved.

    Default Safety lever

I want to run the polymer style lever but I don't like the ambi setup ..... just curious if anyone else out there had similar opinions on the matter.
And no, I do not intend on posting modified axles for sale.
