I'm thrilled to hear folks are getting their hands on these - this is awesome news. This makes the barrel installation a snap, on the HK417/MR417 receiver....

I purchased the only one they had in stock. The guy was super helpful. While I was at it I asked about the front flip up sight parts for the newer A5 style hand guards. He immediately knew I was looking to fill the hole on my Brownells parts kit handguard. But they don’t have them.

The fixture was very expensive. If anyone in the U.S. needs to borrow one just to install their barrel properly I’d consider working out a short duration use deal after mine arrives and my barrel is installed.

Does anyone have a 417 build that is held up by not having a receiver rod for barrel installation?

Are you going to start renting out your barrel rod?

Perhaps, if that’s the only thing holding up someone’s build. I think the “rent” would be a donation to a worthy veteran’s charity and cover the shipping expenses.

I'm in the western part of Virginia. What would I need to do to rent this from you for a few days? Can have it turned back around to you in a day or two.

PM me and we'll figure it out. Should be an easy day.
