Default HK416 Small Parts Drying Up?

I'm probably a little late to the game. Does anyone know if these small parts for 416/ 556, buffer pins, safety selectors, springs, pins etc., ever coming back?

I've looked everywhere, HK parts, RKS, Gatewood, Brownells, Midwest Guns etc., and they all seems to be out of stock or forever back ordered. Any ideas?

If you are not in a rush, do what I do: Fill your Brownell's cart up with all the backordered items and just wait, slowly (like all things HK) they will trickle in. Best ordered on a day like yesterday with 10% off and free shipping. Even better, sign up for their Edge program. Indeed these small parts are rather scarce right now.

I also think this is probably the best approach. I had a bunch of parts on backorder and Brownell has shipped them as they become available. In addition, the schematic diagram on their site makes it easier to order the right part. They also have great return policy in case you find the part before they ship. Although like most here, I’ve never returned a part and just put it in my HK parts bin!

    I also check hkwebshop periodically.

I'll chime in on the Brownells approach, was building a 416 lower last night, installing the front takedown detent pin and spring and surprise surprise, I fumbled, the pin flew out and there's no chance in heck that I'm going to find that sucker. Went online to Brownells and they actually have HK pins in stock. Placed the order, 10% off, and I'll have it in two days, free shipping (Edge Member)...back on track. Also had a spare, put a blanket over my head so the next one couldn't fly into outer space, and was successful!

You are not alone, lol. A full 416 lower parts kit sold for $300 here on the classifieds on Saturday, I was 2 hours late on it.

I have been able to piece together almost a brand new LPK from various sources: HK Web shop, hkparts.net, RKS, and gun broker. the only pieces i am missing at the moment are the front takedown pin and spring, i have the detent. All brand new parts, into it so far for more than $300. Not ideal but I'm trying to clone a 416 with all german parts, sans the lower, that's a Brownells part that has been engraved with the 416D engravings.

If you have a buddy in Europe to help, you can also try getting parts from Zib which is in Germany.
