Question Fostech or Franklin Armory Binary Trigger for my OTB?

Forum NG here looking for H&K Forum OG advice

Got two OTB uppers that I'm putting on MR556 lowers. Thinking of binary triggers.

Anyone with any experience on the matter at hand? Fostech or Franklin? maybe h&k makes something (Assume not)?

And is the FA original OTB hk 416 trigger BETTER than a Geissele SSF in original 416 OTB Lower?

    Dankeshein fellas!

Edit: Do either (Fostech/Franklin) even fit the 416 OTB FA uppers and the MR lowers?

The ECHO is more reliable with no tuning, is slower, but runs well with piston uppers.
The FA BFS is faster and with the standard hammer it uses, may be more versatile, but does require tuning with a lot of uppers and does not work well with the piston uppers I have tested.
Both are fun, but the ECHO wins the reliability category IMHO if that is your priority. If it is speed you seek and you like to fiddle with different spring, bolt carrier and buffer weights to tune the trigger to a particular upper then the Franklin Armory BFS is what you seek.

The standard Geissele SSF won't function with the firing pin safety. You'd need a Geissele 416 SSF. The OEM single stage trigger is nothing special; it's just a mil-spec FA FCG.

My bad, I did mean the Geissele SSF HK-416.

Edit: Is it a lot better ? I have access to both (OTB FA Lower original and Geissele SSF HK-416)

Yes, the Geissele is a significant improvement IMO.
