I’ll let you know how it works out.

My primary occupation is still at Ase Utra sound suppressors, from where some forum members may remember me from.

Also a part owner for several years at Treaper Ltd.

Here is another alternative that has not been mentioned, the Recon sling from us:

    https://www.3hgr.fi/en/verkkokauppa/tuotteet/3hgr-recon

    - Quality materials with IR protection
    - Does not absorb water in the same way as slings that utilize cotton in the sling material. So very good feature from the arctic to the jungles.
    - Very good pricing for the quality

Great sling overall, even compared to the BFG VCAS slings, which I have personally used for many years.

    Best Regards!

    Tuukka ( co-owner at 3HGR )

We didn't mention any sling vendor so far because main discussion is about mounting points...
Perhaps you could post end to end solution for a sling mount instead of advertising your product - the sling - only?

He mentioned needing a sling and also about mounting.

I did not go into the mounting as a lot of people have their own preference.

I prefer just mounting to the stock without QD and having a suitable mount on the front handuard, again not necessarily needing to be QD if I am not intending on switching the same sling to other rifles.

However often I do mount a HK hook to the front for ease of removal, for taking the handguard off for access to the gas piston for cleaning and so forth.

Nice. Personally would route back of sling on other side of stock (for right shoulder use).

Right there with you. By routing through the other side you keep it out if the way when shouldering it. It twists the sling a little but works great.

I also place my forward attachment point to the rear of the HG instead of the front. It keeps the sling out of my may when shouldering and gripping the HG to present and shoot.

With font mount in front of the support hand, you are able to tension sling with support hand elbow for those longer shots. It all depends on needs and purpose. For "tactical" use, especially with lots of stuff and what not on handguard putting sling mount closer to receiver (like in Geissele handguard) makes more sense. For target/competition shooter ability to stabilize rifle with sling makes more sense.
