As previously stated, I've slung mine into the creek, and I know it had rocks lodged in it.
That chrome lined 416 barrel saved me from the rednecks above, as I sent 30 rounds down range raght afterwards, with
LOL!!!! Couldn't resist.
A redneck's famous last words...."Hey everybody, watch this!"
Totally worthless video. They got something against forward piston drives?
Cloven Karl has never and will never impress me. His "tests" are pretty much pointless and worthless. Also, he takes himself far too seriously.
With regards to the P7, there are two classes of people.
1. Those who know it to be the finest pistol ever produced.
2. Those who have yet to fire one.
Yeah, I'm kinda meh and Karl. I can take or leave him on his videos. I like Ian's stuff, though, especially on Forgotten Weapons.
Ian is great. I don't know what he sees in Karl but Friendship trumps judgement though so I say kudos to Ian. Everyone needs a friend.
Meh. I take these with a grain of salt. I trust my HKs (all of them) and that's what matters to me.
Get clean shots, watch your background.
Any foreign debris that would prevent extraction is too much to allow chambering to begin with, regardless of chrome lining.
The issue with the original M16 and lack of chrome was due to carbon fouling (the single biggest cause of FTEs) and rust. Not foreign debris.
This test was about foreign debris, not carbon fouling nor corrosion and chrome wouldn't have helped.
