Still selling the same original MR just adding some color furniture and a lower-end scope and selling it for $5k plus. Give me a break! Sad

I’d give my left nut for one of these. But sadly HK doesn’t want my left nut. Sadly no one does; if you saw it you’d know why. But hey, I’m sorry I ruined for everyone else and that HK said no to it in exchange for the importation of these MR308’s. ;-)

When available, I'm in like Flynn--- prefer the 20" barrel--- quick-change barrel would be even more awesome!!!

Isnt the csass program looking for a US manufacturer? Hope would be that their looking to get HK usa to produce the csass.

Though from the rumor mill on arfcom and else where, it's more because they decided prematurely and my be trying to back track and select another weapon for the program.

Lot of knowledgeable folks here, anyone can chime in?

I thought what you're referring to is part of a formality of the contract in that others are given the opportunity to produce the rifle, but is unlikely outside of HK. Kinda like the M320's aren't all HK's and not all M4's are Colts for the military.

Then again, I only pay half attention to some of this stuff anymore and the process seems like quite convoluted to say the least.
