    Actually....yes. Yes it can. On a 2/3 IPSC using 8x and factory ammo...in less than 3 tries (no "walkin'"it in).



    Point being: A good barrel is a good barrel...

    While I love my mr556, I’m still amazed how many think any other ar15 is somehow inferior and incapable of performing as well. It’s a great gun, but the wheel was not reinvented. Velocities are actually quite a bit slower in the mr due to the barrel design, but they do print nice groups 🙂

    The more common complaint is that it's the MR556 that is inferior to other AR15s due to the lack of chrome lining and heavier barrel profile.

    Nobody has ever brought into question the accuracy of an MR556.

    The longevity on the other hand is the core of the chrome-line debate.
